THE FIRST RAM AIR II PONTIAC FIREBIRD EVER PRODUCED LED A DOUBLE LIFE!
The 1968 1/2 Ram Air II is a late production high performance option that was offered by Pontiac in mid-year of 1968 replacing the original L67 Ram Air option. It was developed to meet the demand for maximum performance and to give Pontiac a competitive entry in drag racing competition. It was the first to use re-designed cylinder heads with large round exhaust ports and many other performance enhancements. The Ram Air II Firebird is one of the rarest Pontiac muscle cars. In total there were 110 Ram Air II Firebirds built in 1968, of which 98 were equipped with a 4-speed manual and 12 with automatic transmission.
This 1968 Ram Air II Firebird is exceptionally rare, it is one of only 12 with the TH400 automatic transmission and according to Pontiac Historic Service, it is the first Ram Air II Firebird produced.
Pete Weidner competed in the Ram Air II Firebird in NHRA drag racing in 1968. For 1969, it was replaced with a Ram Air IV GTO and the Ram Air II was sold.

Another very historically significant Pontiac, this is one of the last 1971 GTO Judges produced of the 357 cars built. Pontiac introduced the 455 HO rated at 335 HP at 4,800 RPM and 480 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 RPM on the strength of the improved breathing inherent in its Ram Air IV round-port heads, 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust. The GTO and its Judge variant were more attractive machines if one’s tastes leaned toward the more daring, the Judge adding bold graphic excitement to the GTO’s restyled nose treatment and flared fender brows.
Quezel Gold metallic paint and contrasting Judge emblems and graphics adorn this GTO, which is one of the last Judges known to have been built in the model’s history. . If you ask most automobile enthusiasts what the first true muscle car was, it is highly likely they will respond swiftly and authoritatively with three simple letters “GTO”. In 1971, the last year of Judge production, there were only 357 produced. Of those, only a mere 17 were convertibles. After 1971, GM was working to reduce compression ratios in preparation for the coming unleaded gasoline and stricter EPA regulations. But, Pontiac’s pain is a modern enthusiast’s gain, as only 17 of those 357 Judge models were convertibles. This puts it on equal footing in the rarity stakes with such luminous and legendary muscle cars as the 1970-71 Hemi Cuda convertibles.
This rare 1971 Pontiac GTO Judge convertible, in Castilian Bronze, is one of the 17 built for the 1971 model year. Exceedingly rare and packed with factory options, this final-year GTO Judge convertible has all the qualities that have elevated The Judge to peak of the muscle car hierarchy

The performance division of General Motors in the middle of the golden muscle car era, had produced some of the most iconic and cool muscle cars. One of them was this 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible, but this one is even cooler. This Judge GTO, it is one of the seventeen ever made, and it is the last ever built, which makes this one super rare.

The 1972 Pontiac GTO LeMans was produced during the transitional period for the American auto industry. Gas prices were creeping up and emissions standards were tightening, signaling the muscle car era was ending fast. But amid this backdrop, there emerged a wolf in sheep's clothing. As beneath the familiar LeMans sheet metal, a potent 455 cubic-inch V8 lurks ready to pounce on unsuspecting opponents.
.
The vinyl top version finished in Monarch yellow is an extremely rare model. It is one of only 7 that were produced with the 455 H.O. engine combined with an automatic transmission.

As you know, Pro-touring cars are built to be driven; driven on the street, on the racetrack, on the drag strip, through cones at an auto-cross, no matter the setting, pro-touring cars are meant to be driven. Of course, that leaves quite a bit to interpretation as it doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone—and of course there's the old saying, "Don't race it if you can't afford to replace it."
This beauty is decked out in a dark blue paint finish with the traditional GT 350 rocker panel stripe. Sporting Street Fighter Throttle wheels and tires and the reverse air hood scoop sets this one apart. Complete with a racing interior, plumbed and wired engine, and a rear window full sized spare. This one is ready to rock the streets or the track!

Famed American automotive designer, racing driver and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby partnered with Ford to build Mustang-based performance cars. The result of their collaboration was the Shelby GT350 in 1965. By 1968, the car had evolved to the GT500 and would see the first convertible built in the series. This ’68 Shelby GT500 is also the more limited KR, which stood for “King of the Road”, including a decked out 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet V8.

A Texan, a racer and a sportscar builder, Carroll Shelby joined forces with the Ford Motor Company in 1965 to create the ‘’father of muscle phenomenon’’, a tremendous version of the Mustang that was made to tear up the racetrack but also cruise the streets.
In addition to the GT40 and Cobra programs, Ford commissioned Shelby to create an uprated Mustang to compete in the SCCA B-Production Championship. Thanks to various weight-saving measures, the GT350 tipped the scales at 224 lbs. less than a regular V8-engined Mustang. Performance was further improved thanks to an array of chassis modifications and a tuned 306bhp motor.

While Shelby was diving deep into the the development of the GT40 for LeMans, he also had his sights on Ford's Mustangs. He wanted to turn Ford's secretary sports car into a track champion. So, Ford sent him three white K-code 1965 Mustangs. Serial number 5R002 would become the very first GT350R prototype and is arguably the most important Mustang in history! 5R002 would have multiple parts tested on it with drivers such as Ken Miles and Bob Bondurant behind the wheel, fenders widened by hand, the famous rear window designed by Peter Brock that let air escape, reverse hood scoop, and so much more! 5R002, aka the "Flying Mustang", would win its first race it ever entered on February 14,1965 with Ken Miles piloting the car to victory. Miles and others would compile 10 wins with 5R002 throughout the season with Jerry Titus capturing the SCCA B Production Championship for 1965! To read the full story about this amazing piece of Shelby history, check out the following link: https://ponynsnake.com/la-mythique-shelby-mustang-gt350r-flying-mustang-revient-a-la-vente-aux-encheres/
Without further ado, ACME is pleased to present this replica of the very first GT350R prototype! It features all the primered body panels, all new tooling for the reversed cowl hood, fully detailed race interior and so much more! Enjoy!!!
