As most muscle car fans already know, the original movie featured a main character known simply as Kowalski, driving a white '70 Challenger R/T that bore no stripes. While it’s named after the anti-hero pilot of the Challenger R/T in the film Vanishing Point, this E-body’s specs and aesthetic draw heavily from the Challenger T/A that Sam Posey raced in Trans-Am in 1970 for the factory Dodge team. ACME has taken this classic and spun it with a Street Fighter twist! This 1970 Dodge Challenger combines all the best engineering from NASCAR and Trans-Am, with the finish of a high-end show car. Staying true to the all white, no stripes exterior, we added our Street Fighter wheels and tires to set this one off.  Outfitted with race seats, full race interior, roll cage, and powered with a race engine. This beauty is a tribute to the Kowalski legend.

Ford Mustang Drag Car “BATCAR” – 1965
Stock Number  – 1801852 Year / Make / Model  – 1965 A/FX Mustang Drag Car Exterior Color  – “BATCAR” – Rice & Holman Race Day Look Interior Color  – Black Manufacture  – Acme Release Date  – Available Now! Production Number  – 1,086 Scale  –  1:18   1965 Ford Mustang A/FX - "BATCAR" NHRA 1966 Summer Nationals Champion   As the drag wars heated up among the factory hot rods, the Factory Experimental category of racing grew wildly in its popularity. The BATCAR , sponsored by the famous Rice & Homan Ford dealer, was one of 10 Mustangs commissioned by Ford to be made into purpose-built drag cars by the Holman & Moody team. The pilot of the BATCAR was one of the most accomplished drag racers of the day, Al Joniec. Al and the 427 cammer powered Mustang would set numerous records together. One of their quarter mile passes was 8.70 seconds at 170mph!  Another cool fact about the BATCAR is that it was one of the first A/FX cars to move the body back on the chassis to maximize weight transfer for racing, leading to the term "funny car".    Be sure to check out the 1970 Ford F-350 Ramp Truck - "Bat Truck"    Special Offer!!
