Boss 429 1st one Built – 1969
Stock Number  – 1801859 Year / Make / Model  – 1969 Boss 429 - 1st one built! Exterior Color  – Black Interior Color  – Black Manufacture  – Acme Estimated Release Date  – October 2022 Production Number  – 750 Scale  –  1:18   On Wednesday, January 15, 1969, employees at Kar-Kraft's Brighton, Michigan, facility declared it would be a champagne-popping kind of day, and rightly so. Job 1, the name given to the first factory production Boss 429 Mustang to traverse the assembly line at one of Ford's skunkworks facilities, had finally made the physical transformation from Mustang Sports Roof to homologation requirement. With Chrysler and FoMoCo punching and counterpunching on the high ovals, Ford took another stab at aero war supremacy in NASCAR with the introduction of the 429 semi-hemi powerplant. Kar-Kraft owner Nick Hartman had submitted a bid to Ford Motor Company to produce the Boss 429 Mustangs, a necessary tool in order to reach the homologation requirements set by NASCAR. Hartman had known Chuck Mountain and Ed Hull (who were instrumental in the GT40 project) from his years of sports car road racing and had a foot in the door for submitting the bid. Through these contacts and the right bid, he secured the right to produce the Boss Mustangs. In total, 859 1969 Boss 429 Mustangs would travel down the lines at Kar-Kraft, meeting (and exceeding) the 500-unit threshold NASCAR had implemented.   Special Offer!! Camaro “COPO” – 1969

His expertise in developing his cars and parts, as well as his willingness to share his knowledge, led him to work with Nickey Chevrolet, Yenko Chevrolet, and eventually build his own COPO Camaros. But what does COPO really mean? An acronym for “Central Office Production Order,” COPO was the method used by dealers in the know who could use it to order options. Such as a factory installed 427 in a 1969 Camaro.    Special Offer!! Today, many classic car fans know him from his involvement with the early development of the 427 Camaro. These modified vehicles were powered by an engine that wasn't available in the standard Camaro at the time, Chevy's legendary 427ci big-block V8 engine. This 1969 Camaro is the stuff of legends: a genuine COPO 9561 modified when new by “Mr. Chevrolet” himself, Dick Harrell. Delivered from the factory with a 427/425 HP MN-suffix engine and BE 4.10 12 bolt Positraction rear end, the Frost Green coupe is further equipped with a CX 400 Turbo automatic, and ZL2 cowl induction hood. Challenger “Kowalski” – 1970
Stock Number  – 1806022 Year / Make / Model  – 1970 Dodge Challenger  "Kowalski" Exterior Color  – White Interior Color  – Black Manufacture  – Acme "Street Fighter" Estimated Release Date  – November 2022 Production Number  – 750 Scale  –  1:18
As most muscle car fans already know, the original movie featured a main character known simply as Kowalski, driving a white '70 Challenger R/T that bore no stripes. While it’s named after the anti-hero pilot of the Challenger R/T in the film Vanishing Point, this E-body’s specs and aesthetic draw heavily from the Challenger T/A that Sam Posey raced in Trans-Am in 1970 for the factory Dodge team. ACME has taken this classic and spun it with a Street Fighter twist! This 1970 Dodge Challenger combines all the best engineering from NASCAR and Trans-Am, with the finish of a high-end show car. Staying true to the all white, no stripes exterior, we added our Street Fighter wheels and tires to set this one off.  Outfitted with race seats, full race interior, roll cage, and powered with a race engine. This beauty is a tribute to the Kowalski legend.

That is, until Ray Allen entered the scene. He decided to bring Chevrolet to frontline with all-powerful LS6 build, and in the process he created an icon. Easily one of the most well known vehicles to vintage racing fans, this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle was piloted by Allen, and the already established Ralph Truppi and Tommy Kling. The trio sprinted their way to an unbeaten season in 1970, setting a national record at that time of 11.33 seconds, clocking in a half second faster than the Mopars across the field.      Special Offer!!
