Even though it’s called “Black”, this is more of a dark green metallic with a hint of black. In the shade, the car looks nearly black, but under direct sunlight the metallic flakes shine through making the car look somewhat like a deep forest or mossy green. In the history of American muscle cars, few names evoke as much raw excitement and nostalgic reverence as the Dodge Challenger. From the factory, this Challenger is very unique. It rolled out of the Dodge Main plant in Hamtramck, Michigan in March 1971 painted GY8 Gold Metallic with a black vinyl top, black R/T stripes and a jaw dropping green plaid cloth and vinyl bucket seat interior.
