years of serving as a daily driver for Jeff Smith, editor of Chevy High Performance
Magazine, this El Camino needed a fresh start. Some of Jeff’s friends helped him out
by changing the exterior from pasty white to flaming red, detailing the engine
compartment, and installing a new small block. Since its transformation from street urchin
to boulevard hero, it has survived two Hot Rod Power Tours and a Car Craft Anti-Tour. Jeff
is now the Senior Technical Editor at Car Craft Magazine, where you’ll occasionally
see glimpses of his red hot beauty. Several new features including: custom flame paint, American Racing chrome wheels, performance radials, disc brakes, headers, chromed engine, Grant steering wheel, custom two-tone interior, sprayed on bed liner, fiber covered interior floor, rear speakers, subwoofer, and amplifiers. |
