It was painted Pearl White with Candy Red & Blue accents, and won best appearing car that year in Miami. He later set a MPH record at 121.39 at the NHRA World Finals. At that event officials didn't like the car's lack of side scoops when running it as a Cobra Jet car, so he was told not to show up anymore unless it had the scoops. So he was forced to quickly install the quarter scoops before he could race again. This is why you will see photo's of this car without, and with, quarter scoops.

S/C decided to do it the above pictured "original way" the way Rusty raced it (no scoops) and mostly
Blue with Red stripe on the left side, and mostly Red with Blue stripe on the right side.
NOTE: Rusty still has this car to this day, but it now has the "opposite" of the original paint scheme, and has a shaker hood/scoop. The 1:18 car will have the original style paint and scoop, as in the photographs shown here.

These have correct style hinges for the opening hood, open doors, and opening trunk. The 428 CJ motor is fully wired and plumbed, plus 4 tube headers. The interior is carpeted, has real cloth seat belts, with the chassis also detailed with working suspension, rotating driveshaft, and Torque Thrust mag wheels with slicks on the rear.
